  5. Feb 06,  · Phenomenal pressing. Getting past the fact this is my favourite Travis album, the soundstage is incredible. Instruments are perfectly balanced, with no one instrument imposing on another. A lot more clarity than on the CD release - which seems rare in this day and age. Despite other comments, my copy is perfectly flat - and sounded clean and quiet.4/5().
  6. "Where You Stand" is one of their most melodic albums since 's "The Invisible Band". There are songs like "Reminder", "Warning Sign", "Another Guy", "New Shoes" and "Boxes" that all have hit potential. Some of the other tracks are good as well like "Mother", "Moving", "Where You Stand" and "The Big /5().
  7. "Where You Stand" restores Travis, putting them back on track musically after the bleak "12 Memories", the almost return to form "The Boy With No Name" and the uninspiring "Ode To J. Smith". Plus, a decent solo outing "Wreckorder" from Fran Healy. I've been with Travis since their second album /5().
